Statement on State Congressman Jason Spencer – July 24, 2018:

The tone and content of State Congressman Jason Spencer’s appearance on “Who is America” are inconsistent with the stated mission of our state representatives. Georgia House Speaker David Ralston said in a statement to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, “The actions and language used on this video are reprehensible. Representative Spencer has disgraced himself and should resign immediately. Georgia is better than this.”

We urge the legislative leaders of both parties to come together in order to investigate this and, as suggested by Speaker Ralston, file a “joint ethics complaint against Representative Spencer on the incident.”
